Water Softeners
If you are experiencing "hard water" problems such as calcium, magnesium or other minerals in your water, then a water softener is your solution. Water softeners replace the active mineral ions with sodium ions. By "softening" the water, you eliminate hard water stains on fixtures and dishes. Stop mineral build-up in your pipes, hot water tank and appliances. Improve the quality of your hair and skin, and much, much more.

There are several different water softeners on the market today, each with it's own specifications. Your Valley representative will be able to identify the appropriate softener for your needs based on your current water quality and daily usage.


Water Filtration
If you are experiencing sand/sediment, iron or sulphur problems in your water, then a water filter system is your solution. Water filters utilize a media, which water is forced through under preasure to remove unwanted materials. The result is crystal clear water without any offensive odor. The media material is periodically backwashed and the unwanted material is drained away.

There are several different water filters available, each designed to remove specific material from your water. Your Valley representative will be able to identify the appropriate filter for your needs based on water testing done at your location.

Water Purification
If you are drawing your water from a lake, well, or other source exposed to contaminants, then a water purification system is your solution. There are a variety of water purification systems available. The two main types of systems include:
Reverse Osmosis - Uses a semi-permeable membrane to allow only water molecules in their pure state to pass through.
Ultraviolet - Uses UV light to kill microbiological contaminents, bacteria and viruses.

Water purification systems are typically employed with other filtration or softening systems and can be located under a sink. Water from an installed purification system will rival most bottled water.
